Ready to start 'really speaking' Spanish, but unsure where to begin? Struggling with your Spanish homework or with basic communication? Getting ready to take a trip abroad, but nervous about your language skills?
Welcome to Swimming Rabbit Arts: El Camino Spanish Instruction!
We're so happy that you found your way here and we hope that we can help you find your way forward on your Spanish-speaking journey. We offer dynamic lessons, tutoring, and small group classes in Seattle and Vashon designed to move you away from repetitive exercises to real-world communication and connection.
El Camino was born from instructor Laura Brady's year living in Galicia, Spain, the end-point of the famous 500-mile pilgrimage El Camino de Santiago. Starting in the French Pyrenees and weaving across Spain on several well-worn tracks, it is a 'way' formed since the 8th century by the steps of countless pilgrims. Though people set off on this journey for different reasons, almost everyone who walks it describes the experience as universally transformative.
Learning a new language allows us to access new parts of ourselves, much like El Camino de Santiago.
Don't worry: We're not asking you to walk 500 miles.
Just come walk a little ways with us and find your voice in Spanish.
